Products and Materials
How do I keep my products in good condition?
Proper care has the greatest impact on a product's lifespan. Always check the product’s care label before washing and follow the instructions specific to the material. Wash dark and light colors separately, and turn items inside out before washing to protect their colors. Avoid overloading the washing machine, as textiles need space to be cleaned gently.
It is best to store scarves folded flat or rolled up. Beanies and gloves stay in the best condition when kept in their proper shape. Ponchos can be stored on a wide hanger or folded, while leather items should be kept separate from other textiles. With proper care, a high-quality accessory will remain beautiful and functional for years to come.
How should a silk scarf be cared for?
A silk scarf is a valuable item made from a natural material; with the right care, it will stay beautiful for a long time. We recommend hand-washing it in lukewarm water (no warmer than 30°C) using a mild detergent. Do not rub or wring the silk; instead, rinse the scarf thoroughly in cold water and gently squeeze out any excess water.
Dry the silk scarf flat, away from direct sunlight. It is not advisable to hang a wet silk scarf, as the material may stretch. Also, avoid exposure to direct sunlight. If necessary, the scarf can be ironed while still damp—using the setting for silk—or by using steam. For the best results, iron on the reverse side, placing a protective cloth or a piece of paper between the iron and the fabric.
How should a wool scarf be cared for?
Wool and cashmere are naturally dirt-repellent materials, so airing them out is often enough to freshen them up. If necessary, the scarf can be hand-washed in cold water using a detergent designed for wool, or machine-washed on a wool cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
After washing, gently remove excess water using a towel. A wool scarf should always be dried laid flat, shaped to its original form. Never hang a wet wool item, as wool stretches easily. Wool products generally do not require ironing, but if necessary, they can be steamed at a low temperature. Store wool scarves clean, dry, and folded.
Can scarves be machine-washed?
It depends on the material of the scarf. Scarves made of cotton, modal, or lyocell can generally be machine-washed using a delicate cycle at 30–40°C. For silk and cashmere scarves, we recommend hand-washing or using a specialized, extra-gentle wash cycle suitable for the material.
Always check the specific care instructions for each product before washing, as different materials require different handling to maintain their qualities and appearance.

What materials are used in your scarves?
Lasessor scarves are crafted from high-quality, carefully selected materials. We prioritize natural materials and more sustainable fiber options. Materials are always chosen with great care, based on their specific properties and intended use. Our collection includes silk, wool, cashmere, linen, and cotton, among others. We also use cellulose-based lyocell—a soft, breathable material with a lower environmental impact. We are constantly developing our material choices in collaboration with our manufacturers, with the goal of combining high quality, long product lifespan, and the smallest possible environmental footprint.

Which scarf size is best suited for different uses?
The intended use of a scarf influences the appropriate size; small silk scarves are suitable for wearing around the neck, as hair accessories, or as a decorative touch for a handbag. Medium-sized scarves are versatile enough for both everyday wear and special occasions, while large scarves serve as striking shawls or warm, cozy scarves. Easy-to-use tube scarves (snoods), on the other hand, are perfect for a quick, effortless everyday look.
For formal attire, larger scarves that drape beautifully over the shoulders are often preferred.
On the product pages, you will find the exact dimensions for each scarf, helping you choose the right size for your needs.
How do I choose the right size for a beanie or headwear?
To find the correct size for headwear—such as a cap—measure your head circumference just above the eyebrows, at the widest part of your head. The sizing information provided on our product pages will help you select the right fit.
Most of our beanies are one-size-fits-all.
