Take proper care of your products

High-quality textiles and leather products last for years when cared for properly. These care instructions apply to all our products: scarves, hats, ponchos, and gloves.

Care depends on the material – find your product's material below and follow the specific instructions. If your product has multiple materials, washing should be done according to the most delicate material requiring the gentlest care.

Silk

Products: Scarves, shawls

Washing:

• Hand wash in lukewarm water (max 30°C) with mild detergent
• Do not rub or wring
• Rinse thoroughly in cold water
• Gently squeeze out excess water, do not wring

Drying:

• Dry flat in the shade
• Do not hang while wet – silk stretches easily
• Avoid direct sunlight

Ironing:

• Iron on silk setting (max 110°C) while damp or with steam
• Iron from the reverse side through a protective paper

Wool and Cashmere

Products: Scarves, shawls, hats, ponchos, gloves

Washing:

• Hand wash in cold water with wool detergent
• You can also use the wool program on the washing machine (max 30°C)
• Do not rub – press gently
• Rinse in cold water

Drying:

• Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel
• Dry flat in shape
• Hats and gloves: shape to the correct size while damp
• Do not hang – wool stretches when wet
• Dry at room temperature, away from heat sources

Ironing:

• Wool products generally do not need ironing
• If necessary, steam at low temperature

Storage:

• Store clean and dry
  
• Fold evenly, do not hang for long periods

Lyocell and Modal

Products: Scarves, shawls

Washing:

• Machine wash at 30-40°C on gentle cycle
• Use mild detergent
• Avoid bleach

Drying:

• Dry flat or hang while damp
• Tumble drying at low temperature is possible

Ironing:

• Iron at medium heat (max 150°C)
• Iron while damp for best results

Cotton

Products: Scarves, shawls

Washing:

• Machine wash 30-40°C
• Colored products: wash separately during the first washes
• White products: can be washed at a higher temperature (60°C)

Drying:

• Tumble dry on low heat
• Or dry flat / hang

Ironing:

• Iron on hot (max 200°C)
• Steam helps remove wrinkles

Leather

Products: Gloves

Cleaning:

• Do not wash in water – leather will be damaged
• Wipe dirt off the surface with a damp cloth
• Let it dry at room temperature
• Use a cleaner designed for leather on stains

Care:

• Treat with leather cream or grease 1-2 times per season
• Conditioning keeps leather soft and prevents cracking
• Apply a thin layer and let it absorb

Drying:

• If leather gets wet, let it dry slowly at room temperature
• Do not dry near a heat source (radiator, stove)
• Shape gloves correctly during drying

Storage:

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Avoid direct sunlight
• Store shaped or stuffed (e.g., with tissue paper inside)
• Let leather breathe – do not store in a plastic bag

General tips for all products

• Always check the product's care label before washing
• Wash dark and light colors separately
• Turn products inside out before washing to protect colors
• Avoid full loads in the washing machine – textiles need space
• Store scarves flat or rolled
• Beanies and gloves: store shaped
• Ponchos: hang on a wide hanger or fold evenly
• Leather products: keep separate from textiles
